Welcome to Farb Middle School!
At Farb, we are proud to be a school community where every student is known, valued, and supported. As the only AVID National Demonstration School in the San Diego Unified School District, we are committed to preparing all students for college, career, and lifelong success through rigorous academics, strong relationships, and high expectations.
We are also honored to serve a student population that is approximately 80% military-connected. As a Purple Star School, we recognize the unique strengths and challenges of military families and are dedicated to providing the support, stability, and sense of belonging they deserve. We are grateful for the service and sacrifice of our military community and take pride in creating an environment where military-connected students can thrive.
With an enrollment of approximately 400 students, Farb offers the benefits of a small-school setting. Our size allows us to foster meaningful connections, provide individualized attention, and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every student feels seen and supported.
Student well-being is a top priority at Farb. Our strong counseling program and Wellness Center provide students with academic, social-emotional, and mental health support to help them navigate middle school successfully. We believe that when students feel connected and supported, they are better able to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
Parent and family involvement is also essential to our success. We value the partnership between home and school and encourage families to take an active role in their child's education. Together, we create a strong foundation that supports student achievement and helps every student reach their goals.
